The defending world champions look to repeat, but the first obstacle in their way is a very tough Cleveland team.

I have no preference in this series, though I do like more players on the Indians so if I were pushed to make a choice, I guess I would pull for them.

Houston won Game 1, 7-2, in Minute Maid Park, behind starting pitcher Justin Verlander, while Indians ace Corey Kluber absorbed the loss.

And yes, Roberto Osuna got into the game for one inning, to pitch a scoreless ninth. Evil or Very Mad

The Astros won Game 2, 3-1, in a great pitching match-up, but in the end it was Gerrit (my only favorite Astro!) who prevailed. Carlos Carrasco was tagged with the L for the Indians.

The series now shifts to Cleveland, where the Astros can close it out with a Game 3 win.

And Cleveland goes down in a three-game sweep as Houston wins the ALDS, with a commanding 11-3 victory at Progressive Field. Dallas Keuchel started the game for the Astros, but Collin McHugh secured the win. For the Tribe, Mike Clevinger started, but it was Trevor who took the loss, and he won't get a rematch with his former Bruins teammate in the ALCS.

Congratulations!
