As we all know, the Woolsey fire threatened the homes of many major league players, former players and executives back in November.

Now, some are giving back to the community, with a celebrity softball game to be played tomorrow.

What these guys have done is so uplifting and encouraging. God bless them and everyone who was affected.

No matter what time of year it is, there always seem to be a lot of baseball events going on, on the same weekend. We had to work an event on Sunday, and that was just after the FanFest on Saturday.

Even if not baseball - softball at Eddy Field in January would be a fun trip!

I saw Derrek Lee's name on that list. I haven't heard him mentioned in many years!
