Major League Baseball is exploring the idea of playing games in London in 2017.

I'd love to see this happen.

This would really be fun to see take place!

I don't know how this happened--I searched for a thread about the upcoming London trip for the Yankees and Red Sox later this month. I found this one from three years ago, but evidently didn't update it to note that this series was announced last year. This will be MLB's first foray into Europe.

This series is getting closer. I saw this about the mascots the Brits voted on to represent them - it sounds zany

I agree, Sunny!

And the teams are "across the pond" now.

I've been enjoying reading up on baseball's roots in England.

The first game starts in just a few minutes, live from London.

They scored a lot in the second game, too. Are you sure those games were in London and not Denver - Lol. I think it was quite the novelty for fans to see 2 American baseball teams with a great rivalry, playing in front of them.

Let's go back to this one for now.

The Yankees won both games, and MLB.com notes that calls by British broadcasters were quite remarkable. Worth a listen, if you have the time.
