And...we're underway!

And if you've had enough analysis, here's some fun stuff from BaseballAmerica.com.

Isaiah Campbell was so good for Arkansas it was a shame they lost the game to Florida State - 1-0. FSU had Drew Parrish going and he got the win in that game. We are enjoying Father's Day out at brunch with Padres-Rockies on one TV and Vandy-Louisville on another.

Vanderbilt won today, 3-1, on two Austin Martin home runs.

Michigan is still undefeated, having beaten Florida State yesterday.

Even though I don't have a dog in the race, the games have been mostly good. Except that they keep getting interrupted by rain.

Arkansas was eliminated and Texas Tech did stay alive. Mississippi State and Auburn are going to have to play tonight's game, tomorrow because of the rain delay in the Louisville vs. Vanderbilt game.

Auburn has been eliminated, but they beat a lot of odds just to get to the CWS. Good article about the Tigers' seasons and what they had to overcome.

Ready to hang out at Cathy's this weekend!

Unfortunately, Mike Martin's career didn't end the way Seminoles fans would have had it close out. Florida State was eliminated from further contention by Texas Tech.

This should be a well-matched series. Both teams are very well-balanced and undefeated in the CWS.

Both teams were deserving to be in the finals. I was glad Vanderbilt won but I think having regular playoff experience really helps.
