The winner was announced today, Al Michaels. Here's the link announcing it.

I remember hearing him when I was growing up, on ABC Sports. He had quite a career calling other sports, too.

Congratulations to Al Michaels.

Thanks for covering me on this one, too. Al Michaels is deserving. Frankly, I haven't even thought about him in a long time but he did used to be part of the World Series broadcast team back in our "heyday." Congratulations to him.
