It has been so exciting to watch LMP baseball and playoffs the last few weeks, even if we cannot be at the games. I really needed to get my mind off all the uncertainty and stress going on about other things. I am elated the CWS will be played this year and games will start on January 31. I have not picked a team between Hermosillo & Culiacán but am just enjoying the beisbol.

Good call, Cath. After being starved of AFL games and no local winter ball, but still on the high of my team winning the World Series--not to mention the uncertainty of "mid-winter" thrills starting in three weeks, MLB regular season's starting date being up in the air, etc.--at least beisbol is being played! The CS is indeed set to begin late next week in Mazatlán, so I'm interested to see which team the host country sends to compete!
