She's not just a former Bruin, but at age 28, she's the youngest female agent. And she got the job done for Trevor.
Here's a profile about her rise in sports business, and its challenges, from the New York Daily News.
Of particular interest:
Quote: | “I’ll take the brunt of the criticism and then maybe future generations of girls won’t have to worry about posting a picture in their sports bras on Instagram,†Luba tells the Daily News in a recent phone interview. “It’s not always easy. But maybe if I can handle it, then other girls won’t feel that pressure when they try to work in sports.†|

I have some mixed feelings about her posts, but overall I say kudos to her. She is right, breaking into that industry as a female is difficult, but the door is now open for a lot of young women who may want to become agents. _________________ "Baseball is an allegorical play about America, a poetic, complex, and subtle play of courage, fear, good luck, mistakes, patience about fate, and sober self-esteem." - Saul Steinberg |
