Happy Opening Day!

My Padres open at home against the Diamondbacks, today. Lots of anticipation and high expectations, probably more than I can ever remember, for our team this year.

I still say April Fools Day reared its ugly head. Mad

Yes it did. I loved Vin welcoming us back, though.

There is just something unlike all the other sports' opening days that baseball has.

I ran across a few other articles around the web about Opening Day which I'll share later.

The Mets are finally going to have their Opening Day! It seems crazy but they are going to have a different Opening day opponent too. They will play in Philadelphia tomorrow so they had to take the bus from D.C. once that series was postponed. Article from mets.com

It looks like the Nationals will open on Tuesday at home since their COVID problems seem to be over. So they will host the Braves then. Article from nationals.com

By now many other teams have already played 4 games!

Well, the poor Mets blew a Jacob de Grom lead. Sad

Last Opening Day of the season takes place today.
