Congratulations to KJ! He may give us fits, but he recorded his 1000th career strikeout in the ninth inning last night at Petco Park!

He sure does from time to time, lol! But it's a big milestone, so kudos to Kenley.

And the record ninth no-hitter of 2021 was accomplished by the Brewers last night, another combined effort. Congratulations...what a season it's been.

Mad Max II with his 3000th career strikeout! In the fifth inning of today's Dodgers-Padres game. Eric Hosmer was the victim! Congratulations to Max! He is the 19th pitcher in major league history to do this. Here's the link.

Well, I was hoping we would have two milestones of Mad Max II's to celebrate yesterday, but we just missed out on another! Congratulations to him on his 3000th K, though! Smile What a great pick-up he's been for the Dodgers!

Congratulations - what a career. You are fortunate to have 2 future Hall of Famers in your rotation.

Two Dodger middle infielders, SS Corey Seager and 2Bman Trea Turner, hit their 100th career home runs in today's Dodgers win over the Diamondbacks at Chase Field. Both milestone shots were hit off Diamondbacks opener Humberto Mejia. It was an oddity in that the win itself was the 100th of the season for their team. Congratulations, Corey and Trea!

The numerology involved with all 3 of those things happening in 1 game, is pretty unlikely. Congratulations to our boys.

Okay, this one is due for some updates, but let's start here:

Congratulations to the batting champions--Trea Turner of the Dodgers for the NL, and Yuri Gurriel (ASTERISKS*) for the AL.

Do not overlook El NiƱo of my Padres (NL) and Vlad Guerrero Jr. of the Blue Jays (AL)! - 2 sons and namesakes of their major league dads. They are the home run champions of each league! Kind of a fun fact. Also, they were born within 2 months of each other, and both turned 22 before this season started. Congratulations!
