Game 1 was won by my Padres in a very convincing way! 4 home runs off Max Scherzer and Yu looking like Cy Young on the mound! I believe we can handle deGrom and close this out!

Nice job, Padres. The dreaded "dead arm" from last year resurfaces in the 2022 playoffs!

Waiting to see how they do against deGrom! He can be beaten but Blake Snell would have to be flawless for the Padres.

Mets win the second game.

And now it all comes down to one.

Well obviously I was hoping it was not going to come down to that. But we are the last 2 teams standing, everyone else was finished in 2 games! Looking at the pitching match up tonight, I would say we have just as much a chance to win it as the Mets do.

This is a delayed response but WOW! Go Padres! Joe pitched the game of his life! The Mets were held scoreless! My boys won 2 of 3 in New York and are on fire! They have to face the Dodgers, yes, but I believe they are ready. It will sure be a fun series!

It was quite a game! I was very impressed with not only Joe's clutch performance, but also the timely hitting which will present a real challenge to our pitching.
