During my off-on absence, two favorites of posters here, both Socal natives, notched their 55th birthdays--one a long-time favorite Dodger first baseman, and the other a Hall of Famer Padre pitcher.

Those two would be Trevor51 (October 13) and EK23 (November 4). Ironically, EK grew up in San Diego but made his name as a UCLA Bruin, and then a Dodger. Likewise, Trevor was born in Bellflower (L.A. County), but was a beloved Padre (although growing up an Angels fan).

So, happy belated 55th to both!

Oh my gosh - I checked in on this expecting a few threads to be updated like you usually do on N.Y. Eve, DB - I think that's like a tradition with you. Looks like you are "covering all bases" tonight and I'm happy to see that! I've missed the usual activity we have here.

Embarassed Good call, Linda. I should have posted about Trevor, myself. The "good" Trevor that is!
