I was horrified to hear about a mother and small child falling to their deaths before yesterday's game. What an awful tragedy.

I can't imagine thinking about the outcome of a baseball game after something like that. From Fox San Diego, Padres fans react.

It is just heartbreaking and in fact, I did not even know about it when I posted late Saturday night. If I did I would not have whined about losing so much. Thank you to Sunnyblue for posting this.

You know, I did not post about this a few weeks ago when it was announced. But the death of the mother and toddler were ruled a suicide. Sad

I am sorry to have to bump this one up but the family has filed a lawsuit against the Padres. This is very unfortunate in so many ways.
