My head has been swimming reading all about the updates in the Carlos Correa deals that were dependent on physicals, neither one to the liking of the interested team.
First the Jints, now the Mets. _________________ "The Dodgers have always occupied an enormous place in the history of the game. If the Yankees are the most successful team in baseball history, the Dodgers are the most essential. Their legacy is unique."

I hate to laugh at someone else's misery but I can't imagine 2 better teams to have those problems. |

I am hearing the Mets are about ready to move on now. _________________ "Baseball is an allegorical play about America, a poetic, complex, and subtle play of courage, fear, good luck, mistakes, patience about fate, and sober self-esteem." - Saul Steinberg |

For goodness sake, we can see where this goes but the latest is the Twins are trying to get him back. _________________ "Baseball is an allegorical play about America, a poetic, complex, and subtle play of courage, fear, good luck, mistakes, patience about fate, and sober self-esteem." - Saul Steinberg |

Unbelievable! It's come full circle! Now let me post the update in the Hot Stove thread. _________________ "The Dodgers have always occupied an enormous place in the history of the game. From the Athletic:
Quote: | Should this be a TV show?
Picture this: A doctor flags Carlos Correa's ankle, and the Giants call off the deal. Then Correa walks into his Mets physical, only to come face-to-face with the same doc. We're feeling "Arrested Development" vibes over here. Full disclosure, we don't know exactly if that's how it went down, but Correa told Ken Rosenthal the teams used the same specialist to evaluate him. "He had already given an opinion to another team about my ankle. He was not going to change that," the shortstop said.
Netflix needs to jump on this, no?
