What a memorable centennial celebration for the original "House that Ruth Built", which opened on April 18, 1923. Here's some background on the classic yard.
Eerily, Shoh-time channeled Ruth by homering in the anniversary game, as the Yanks hosted the Angels on Tuesday. _________________ "The Dodgers have always occupied an enormous place in the history of the game. I read a blog taking the Yankees to task for this since the stadium is not the same one as the old one. I did not think it was that big a deal, though. Anyone have any thoughts?
