Yes, I realize I still have to get up-to-date on these. That's coming!

Sergio Romo has signed a minor league contract with S.F. for the main purpose of retiring as a Battery Chucker. So that is coming up before the season starts and will take place at the end of Cactus League play. Congratulations, I suppose I can say that, he was a pretty good reliever for a while even if he did play for that team.

Just found out about Josh Reddick's retirement. I don't have many fond memories of him since his 3 months with the Dodgers were very subpar and he came back and "won" the World series against us with the Asterisks.* But, it should be mentioned here.

Former Mets righthander Matt Harvey announced his retirement yesterday. I guess he finally figured out he lost the magic years ago. Congratulations to a very good pitcher for a short amount of time.
