I will post in other threads later as I just have a couple of minutes now but - what is everything coming to when we have a hurricane/tropical storm warning making us reschedule games here in Socal?
Doubleheaders in Anaheim, San Diego & L.A.! Never seen anything like this. _________________ "Baseball is an allegorical play about America, a poetic, complex, and subtle play of courage, fear, good luck, mistakes, patience about fate, and sober self-esteem." - Saul Steinberg |

It's like a once in a lifetime thing, huh? There were 3 scheduled doubleheaders in Socal yesterday because of today's expected storm. Never seen anything like that as far as rainouts go. All 3 teams don't get rained out on the same day or never have, that I know of. |

From the "fake news" department, a photo was circulated of what appeared to be a very flooded Dodger Stadium parking lot yesterday, but as it turned out, it was "much ado over nothing."
The L.A. Times clarified that what was seen was simply reflection rather than a stadium and parking lot completely submerged in water. _________________ "The Dodgers have always occupied an enormous place in the history of the game. That seems strange that Angel Stadium could not keep their field dry? They had to cancel a game on Monday because of it - seems like that was poorly planned. _________________ "Baseball is an allegorical play about America, a poetic, complex, and subtle play of courage, fear, good luck, mistakes, patience about fate, and sober self-esteem." - Saul Steinberg |
