Best wishes to Padres pitcher Luis Perdomo who has recently undergone TJ surgery. Hopefully he will come back from it a much improved pitcher! Article from padres.com

Well, sending blue vibes and prayers to Rojo Chingon, who tested positive for COVID, and hopefully the rest of the guys are okay, too. Puts a bit of a damper on our championship, but I hope he can celebrate despite it all.

I wondered if maybe it could have been a false positive like happened with Alex Dickerson. I hope for his sake that is what happened.

Best wishes also to former Padre (& Jint) Tim Flannery - he has been hospitalized since the weekend with a staph infection, locally. Always loved that guy, hope he will be back to his old self soon.

I know this was posted two weeks ago, but I honestly didn't mean to overlook that last post, Cathy. I hope Flann is doing better now.

Every report I saw on that yesterday said he was resting up comfortably. Best wishes to the ambassador.

It's sad to read the last post in this thread, knowing he's now gone. Sad

Meanwhile, Davey Johnson is recovering from COVID. Best wishes to him!

Sad I was scrolling back in this thread, too, DB.

The reigning AL CY winner, Shane Bieber, has now reported to the Indians' camp in Goodyear a bit delayed because he was recovering from COVID. I hope he will stay healthy.

And even more players, now.

Also, Hall of Famer Dennis Eckersley acknowledges he had a pretty bad case of COVID in January.

And several Nationals players have been quarantined because of one contracting COVID. Not a good time for this to happen.

Best wishes to Padres ambassador Ted Leitner! He had a fall at the ballpark last week! But is doing pretty well in spite of it.

Bryce was hit in the face with a pitch yesterday. A scary moment, but he seems no worse for the wear. Hope he'll be fine.

I saw that! He's tough.

Pitcher Adam Wainwright has been exposed to COVID so was added to the IL by the Cardinals. Best wishes to him. Here's the link.

Guess who is the latest to test positive for COVID! El Niño! He has been added to the IL with Jurickson Profar and Jorge Mateo as persons of "close contact."

Hoping it is over soon with no further damage done to anyone else.

Best wishes. Baseball needs him, although it doesn't appear as if your team was hurting any without those guys tonight. Smile

Yes, and also several Yankees, including one of my favorite ex Padres, Phil Nevin. He is now their first base coach.
