I'm just guessing, but I have a sneaking suspicion that she is referring to this.

If you stay off a school campus, you are probably safe.
Not to make light of recent events; Harpo, thank you for posting that link--I didn't see it. Maybe the beautiful pic taken from the hillside will offset that!
I am not personally an Angeleno, so I guess I could be considered a "visitor"--and I'm a pretty regular visitor during baseball season. Haven't encountered anything out of the ordinary myself.
Let's see what Frodio was really thinking of--was that it? _________________ "The Dodgers have always occupied an enormous place in the history of the game. If the Yankees are the most successful team in baseball history, the Dodgers are the most essential. Their legacy is unique."

I never being in LA or California so I really don't know if that's true. Miami came number 4 in that countdown and I can totally see why. There is an attitude down here.
I just wanted to know what your thoughts about it since you live there, that's all.

IF they are basing it solely on traffic, that might be a different matter. But in general, I don't find that people are any worse than other places--and I've visited most major U.S. cities numerous times.
In fact, some of the nicest people I've met are from L.A. That includes some in my family (many native Angelenos among my cousins), and some I'm not related to. _________________ "The Dodgers have always occupied an enormous place in the history of the game. I've not had much problems there and I've been a lot. When my brother-in-law lived in West L.A., we used to go up every other weekend. Traffic is a bitch, but I didn't notice rudeness in general treatment there. |

Same place I live now, Diego chica. I still have many primos on my dad's side of the family in L.A., Santa Monica, etc. My dad moved here and met my mom in college, and so we grew up in S.D. See my introduction on page 1! Our Lady of Chavez Ravine is my home away from home! _________________ "The Dodgers have always occupied an enormous place in the history of the game.
