OMG - MLB investigating an incident between Reds & Jints before the game even started! Apparently Tommy Pham was involved.

I could not believe when I heard the reason behind this! It had to do with a beef they had over fantasy football! They were in the same league and Pham said Joc was cheating based on its rules.

Not even anything baseball-related!

I almost fell off my seat laughing when I first heard that--I thought it was a joke!

And Tommy Pham has been suspended for three games, too.

Oh, geez, this has gotten so comical. Pham has blasted Mike Trout as being a horrible commissioner of that league. I think I've heard more about this crap than I care to!

Since I don't follow AL teams quite so closely I didn't remember this history (linked here) about the Mariners-Astros that boiled over in Houston last night. Worth commenting on when you see our boy Ty France was hit by a pitch that led to it.

There was quite a brouhaha going on in Anaheim today between the Angels and Mariners! Acting manager Phil Nevin was ejected.

This one has taken on a life of its own. And now, 12 suspensions have been handed down.

The Red Sox-Blue Jays game yesterday had a little skirmish although it was tame compared to the Angels on Sunday! Another that started with a HBP. Article from mlb.com

The Pirates are off to a very good start in this young season, with a 7-5 record at this writing. The first real skirmish of 2023 took place last Sunday, when, while battling the White Sox at PNC Park, Pirates Oneil Cruz had a violent home plate collision which resulted in both benches being emptied.

I almost forgot to mention, Aaron Boone is back managing the Yankees after his 1 game suspension for spitting in the umpire's face!

Benches emptied during a Cardinals loss to the Jints at Busch Stadium. Damn, that team is really hurting.

Bob Melvin was ejected during my Padres' game in S.F. against the Water Hoarders this week. There was a play at the plate to cut down the runner which was the 3rd out of that inning. It was reversed, and that other team went on and won the game. I could see why it was overturned, even though I did not like that. Just wondering if there are other opinions about it.

I'm of the belief that it was a clear violation of the rule.

Did anyone see last night's benches-clearing during the Diamondbacks/Mets game? The Mets had a great series there and were winning big.

Sorry, Sunny. I do remember that series as I was following it closely with the Diamondbacks involved.

I'll have to pay more careful attention; I guess I missed this one.

My Padres had some they were on the wrong end of I did not mention earlier but as usual it was just like everything else this year - working against them.
It was a month ago when they were playing in Oracle Park and the Water Hoarders were benefitting from overturned calls.

Wow - Tim Anderson ejected last night. I'm glad the Dodgers didn't add him. He's having a terrible season.

Yes, Anderson has been fined and suspended. That was some dust up.

Randy Arozarena (Rays) was HBP from Yankees reliever Albert Abreu in the game between those teams played at Tropicana Field yesterday. It was the 4th time a Ray was hit by a Yankees pitcher in the game! (TB won.) Article from mlb.com

And now a benches-clearing incident between the Braves and Pirates surrounding Ronald Acuña, Jr.

Things were getting tense between Seattle & Houston while they are battling it out for the wild card, in last night's game.

Neris has apologized, but MLB is investigating the incident.
