Ballot was released yesterday.
I see only 2 standouts and they are Mariano Rivera (definitely first ballot) and maybe Roy Halladay. I have not looked as carefully at his numbers. _________________ "Baseball is an allegorical play about America, a poetic, complex, and subtle play of courage, fear, good luck, mistakes, patience about fate, and sober self-esteem." - Saul Steinberg |

Anyone else? The results are to be announced later today. I've heard there are several being voted in! _________________ "The Dodgers have always occupied an enormous place in the history of the game. I've heard Bobby's son was a possibility, but I doubt that. |

I guess we are going to have to get used to DHs being in the Hall, now.
Congratulations to the inductees but especially to Mariano Rivera. _________________ "Baseball is an allegorical play about America, a poetic, complex, and subtle play of courage, fear, good luck, mistakes, patience about fate, and sober self-esteem." - Saul Steinberg |
