Yeah, okay, I'll grudgingly give credit to Jints pitcher Tyler Beede for notching his first major league win--over our Dodgers. Sad

Padres lefty Logan Allen beat the Brewers in his first major league start, at Petco Park, last night, 4-1. Congratulations! Article from padres.com

Admittedly, I am way behind on updating this thread!

And we're ready for the post-break milestones.

Well, it didn't take long for a post-break milestone to be registered, as Angels pitchers Taylor Cole and Felix Pena honored their fallen teammate, Tyler Skaggs, by combining to no-hit the Mariners in Angel Stadium last night--the team's first home game since Skaggs' untimely death on July 1--in a 13-0 win.

And it's all about "SM"--congratulations to Cole, a Simi Valley native, and Pena for accomplishing this feat to honor Santa Monica's own Skaggs. Only one Seattle baserunner was yielded, on a walk by Pena in the fifth inning.

Congratulations to Matt. This poor guy had to come to the team right about the time they were hit with tragedy.

Congratulations to Trea - always liked him!

Kudos also to Manny - he hit his 200th career home run in the Padres' 6-5 loss to the Cubs last Saturday, at Wrigley Field. It came in the third inning off Jose Quintana.

I've got even more catching up to do! But first, congratulations to Cody--he hit his 100th major league home run last night, in under three seasons--the fastest Dodger to reach this milestone!

I'm not the biggest fan of combined no hitters that involve several pitchers, but credit where due--the Astros accomplished that last night.

I can hardly keep up with this! Another cycle! Jonathan Villar hit for one last night. Congratulations!

And then there was Tony Gonsolin's first major league win, last night over the Cardinals.

Congratulations to Astros RHP Justin Verlander, who pitched his third career no hitter today! The dominant gem took place against the Blue Jays in Toronto as the Astros won, 2-0. Verlander walked one and struck out 14. He now joins an elite club of pitchers who've hit the trifecta. All but one of the six others who've accomplished this feat are in the Hall of Fame.

Rookie Abraham Toro provided the only runs of the game with a two-run blast in the top of the ninth, which allowed JV to complete the milestone in regulation time.

Congratulations to Gavin Lux--the Dodgers' rookie second baseman recorded his first major league hit on the first pitch he saw from Rockies starting pitcher Peter Lambert in yesterday's Dodgers win at Dodger Stadium.

Oops, forgot to post about Gavin Lux's first major league home run.

Congratulations!

There must be some updates to this now. I know I heard something when the site was down but now I am not sure what the milestone was. We need an end of the year round-up!

Yep! For one, KJ recorded his 300th career save--in between giving us all fits. LOL But congratulations to him; just hope he is used in accordance with his ability in the postseason.
