Since I beat Linda at posting this thread I would like to say Happy Cinco de Mayo even though we do not have beisbol this year like we usually do here! However, KBO is underway and now we can watch that.
I wonder if anyone remembers what happened 1 year ago today in baseball (think NL west). _________________ "Baseball is an allegorical play about America, a poetic, complex, and subtle play of courage, fear, good luck, mistakes, patience about fate, and sober self-esteem." - Saul Steinberg |

Oops! Gotta post my regular musical accompaniment for this one.
And si, of course I remember one year ago today. Hunter Renfroe walk-off grand slam off KJ. It was about that time I really started worrying about KJ.
Watched it at Oggi's/Fenton Parkway.

That was a very different way of celebrating. Not nearly anything close to Old Town or even watching the Battle of Pueble re-enactment. Cinco de Mayo is so much more than drinking and partying but look how little people around the country know about it. So it was a pretty reserved night for us.
But, watching KBO yesterday was something good to do! |
