Emphatically, absolutely, go Athletics!

No argument here - the As must prevail in this series.

Astros beat the "A"s, 10-5, in Game 1 of the ALDS at our beloved Dodger Stadium.

I think it's going to need one thorough extreme sanitizing after this series is over--not just for COVID, but to de-Astro it.

Damn you, Oakland, and damn those Asterisks*, who won the second game, 5-2. Two afternoon games at Dodger Stadium, and the ball is flying out, but the wrong team is hitting more of them.

From Dodger Stadium, the Athletics avoided elimination with a 9-7 win over the Asterisks* in Game 3 today.

Gosh, what is it with all these high scoring games in this series? Is the pitching that bad on both sides? I did not expect every game to be like that. I see Zack is going for Houston today. Wonder if there will be as many balls flying out of Dodger Stadium.

Ramon Laureano is said to have been behind the rallying of the troops during yesterday's game. Also Liam Hendriks had not been used in relief so far this series so that helped stop the bleeding after Oakland took the lead. Article from mlb.com linked here

I am not posting congratulations! Mad The Asterisks* won the ALDS, beating the "A"s in four games, with an 11-6 final at Dodger Stadium today. Johnnie B. Baker is honestly the only redeeming figure on that team. I can't stand the rest of them.

But, simply put, they outplayed the Athletics with a relentless offensive assault. There were 24 home runs hit in the three-game series! Chavez Ravine? I have two words: "day games."

And then there were six...

I'm disgusted. Oakland always seems to fail early on. At least they won a playoff series this time, though. But yes, they were outplayed in this one. Part of me tells me I have to root for even the Yankees in the ALCS if it's necessary just to boot them from the playoffs. Another thought is to hope our 2 teams can meet again in a rematch and we win it all. I just want an end to all this hanging over our heads.

I can just imagine how pissed I would be if they were celebrating at Petco Park. It must be even worse for you guys.
