Two Socal "legends" of sorts have recently announced they will no longer call games for their respective teams--Ted Leitner, the voiceof the Padres for the last 41 years, and Victor Rojas, with the Angels.

Leitner will take on another role within the organization, that of "ambassador", and I'm sure he'll enjoy that very much.

Well, I knew there was something that happened last week that I forgot to report about! Lol I think Uncle Teddy has a lot on his plate anyway and he is getting up there in age considering he broadcasts other sports, too. So it is probably a good idea to take a step back and shift down a little bit. He will really enjoy his new role.

When I first posted this in January, I didn't have a clue that Jorge Jarrin would be the next to hang up the mic. But there, we now have three guys, three different Socal voices, fading into the distance.
