I had heard rumblings it was going to take place next Saturday, which would be the final weekend before the beginning of the regular season. So I've scouted the Padres' home page a few times but saw no mention.

Today I noticed a message from a friend of mine who works security at Petco Park, saying that he was at the ballpark for Padres FanFest! Still nothing said on padres.com about it. So I Googled. Found no mention of a 2021 FanFest. What gives? Cathy, did you know about it? Did you attend? I'm flustered as to why this seems to be the best-kept secret in town.

From what I understand, that event (I did not hear it called "Fan Fest" but something like a "fan tour") that was just for full season ticket holders. I have not heard much about it, but rumors that the targeted group was much smaller. Of course since the spring training games are going on in Arizona, there were no players there, either. I will try to find out more, but I think it was just to showcase the new features at Petco.
