Now the discussion is about whether the team can retain one or both of Mike Trout and Shoh-time. It would be a shame if they didn't. They have two very exciting players, one who plays both ways, and they need to build around those two.

What a mixed bag these Angels are. Under the clouds of potentially losing their superstar two-way player and a big announcement about Mike Trout's health, they came out of the All-Star break on the road in Atlanta, lost two of three there, then won two of three in Kansas City. They're now back in Anaheim, hosting the Rangers for a four-game set.

The Angels called up RHP Janson Junk and optioned RHP Austin Warren.

For those who weren't paying attention Laughing this thread has gone three weeks without an update. Over that time, Mike Trout homered in six consecutive games, Shoh-time continues to dazzle both at the plate and on the mound, but...the Angels have been assured of another losing season. Sad
