For the first time, Chase Field was the location of the PGAA Classic played on August 28, robbing the locals on this forum of viewing another game in person at Petco Park. The West still managed to beat the East, 5-2, in extra innings.

Dick's Sporting Goods has taken over the naming rights of the game, beginning this year.

I'm hoping it can return to Socal and that this is just a temporary departure.

Yes, we sure did get screwed over during COVID and now, with this. Phoenix is an OK location but I would prefer Petco any day, myself!
