My Padres picked up Rich Hill (LHP) and Ji-Man Choi (1B) from the Pirates so we will see if that helps things. Going from our end in the trade were 3 prospects, Jackson Wolf (LHP), Estuar Suero (OF) and Alfonso Rivas (1B). Article from mlb.com

JV returned to Houston. Not surprised and that makes me want to avenge 2017 even more.

Jack Flaherty to the Orioles! Wish the Dodgers would have picked him up, but I guess the Cardinals wanted too much.

Ramón Laureano was designated for assignment by Oakland and then picked up by Cleveland.

Did anyone know about the Blue Jays designating their shortstop Paul DeJong for assignment? They had just added him at the trade deadline and now the Battery Chuckers have picked him up. Until I saw he was in their game a few nights ago I had no idea.

Also, Thor had a short stay in Cleveland, the Guardians DFAed him.

And today the Yankees released Josh Donaldson.

The Angels placed Lucas Giolito and Hunter Renfroe on waivers. That's a huge concession on their part.

Jurickson Profar was released by the Rockies, and picked up on a minor league deal by the Padres.

Little did I know this about my own team, but the Dodgers added Kolten Wong, and I didn't even find out until he stepped up to the plate last night and put the Dodgers on the scoreboard. Smile
