Thanks so much Linda and Ellen.................so far it's a nice day. Hubby is home and taking me to lunch. The kids got me the first season of Desperate Houswives (I love that show) and hubby got me Cinderella earrings. As we get older, it's not about gifts though, I do appreciate them but it's all about having your health another year!

And Linda, Yes Mark is also a scorpio Very Happy

A "few" years ago, I think my kids were 4 and almost 1, my neighbor was turning 30, her husband threw her a surprise party. After she came in, and we all yelled surprise, her son gave her roses and she was greeting everyone when my daughter asks "Patty, how old are you?", Patty rplied "30" My darling daughter then says "Man your older than my mom, she's ONLY 21"....................I was 32 at the time. Patty then says "NO she's not, your mother is OLDER than me" Embarassed

Francine, just to let you know, Eric Karros is a Scorpio too. He just turned 38 last Friday. So you are all in good company. Smile

Anyway, I just wanted to post and let you know that you seem to have a very popular birthday! Yesterday was also the BD of one of my best friends from high school (one year older than you, she just turned 45). We don't keep in touch very well anymore although we're still both in S.D., but we always email on our birthdays. So I posted to you, then emailed her, then went to work.

When I got to the office, there was a huge "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" banner hanging right next to the door. It turns out one of the guys there was celebrating his, too (although he's only in his late 20s--never did catch the exact age).

Then last night I went out to dinner with my family at Casa Guadalajara in Old Town San Diego, and out from the kitchen came a huge birthday cake for a lady at the next table over. I would have saved some but figured it wouldn't be good by the time it got to you. Smile

Also, Adam Dunn of the Reds turned 26. Smile

I think this time of year, maybe this week, is very popular for births,lol My best friend growing up is celebrating her 44th today and at work we have a girl who was born same day, same year as me too...........then there is another on the 10th, 12th, 16th, 17th.......so it's one big party at work. My great nephew is one today as well! Power to the scorpios. Johnny Damon is also a scorpio, celebrating his 30th or 31st on Nov 5. Help me out Damon fans......... Very Happy

) He's a cutie.

Sorry I did not get your birthday greeting up earlier today. You may have read me post here (often!) that I don't have Internet access at work, and so it was on my mind to do so the first thing when I got home. I barely got on-line long enough to post about Joe Maddon leaving the Angels and before I left the house, and didn't even check in on the rest of the threads.

So I hope it's a very happy one for you. Just didn't want you to think I forgot. Smile

P.S. X Nady of the Padres turns 27 today, too.
