Thank you very much. I have been out enjoying this lovely San Diego day at the beach, and then Raul took me to Miguel's at Coronado for lunch. I should be home early tonight where we will watch the wild card game. I have leftovers from lunch, so no grilling or dinner going on for that. However if we decide to do something for the playoffs I will let you know.

Ladies, thank you. It was sure a good one since not only do the Padres rarely play in the playoffs but they rarely win games on my birthday, Lol. It was my first quarantine birthday ever, but Raul brought in take-out from Casa Machado. Family came by little by little but "socially distanced" as usual, during the day, and then we watched the game alone later in the day.

When it is safe for us to do so I suggest we all get together and celebrate all our birthdays. Maybe early in the year next year. I have missed you.

It was a quiet birthday. Danny just brought fresh Mex in. I didn't even get to be with most of my family. We agreed we're all going to wait until COVID is over with and then have one big birthday party for everyone.

Thanks! Well, my team did not give me anything to cheer about Sad

and could not even score a single run!

But we had a good time anyway, as my family took me out to eat after taking a nice long drive earlier in the afternoon up to Oceanside, then back down Coast Highway. And of course it is the early October Santa Ana blast after a few cool days and evenings earlier this week. So, I really enjoyed my day but not so much the game! We came back to the house and had birthday cake with baseball. Enjoyed a very pleasant evening on the patio.

Looking back a year I thought, what a change that was from last year when my boys were just starting the playoffs and got a big win I could celebrate. Time to turn the calendar on this disaster now. Sad
