I saw that, too.

This is actually kind of silly, a comedian trying to "explain" baseball - I found it on mlb.com. But you never know, someone else might think it's funny - linked here

Thank you, ladies. Bryce has sort of worn his welcome out with me but you always have to admire his talent.

As for kitties, I always love them. On the field or off the field. Smile

Doesn't it seem like he's been playing forever? Of course, that's because he was on the cover of SI at age 15, and he won't be 30 for another year and a half.

Anyway, I was nosing around the Padres' page and just found this about your closer, Mark Melancon.

Yeah, I guess Melancon is not too distracted by his business, when you see how well he has done for my boys so far. Smile

This year's Masters champion is from Japan, Hideki Matsuyama. Of course his favorite athletes would be baseball players!
Here's an article about it.

There was a cute exchange with a little girl attending the Padres-Reds game here last weekend. She is a Joey Votto fan and it was her first major league game. Votto got ejected, but he made it up to her with some gifts and to me, that says a lot about what type of guy he is. I did feel bad she had to attend a game they lost, but it was better for my Padres that they won. Smile

Hey, I know this was last weekend, but how about Joe and Tyson Ross' dad saving a woman from choking at Oracle Park? And she was a nurse, too.

Oh, yes, I thought that was quite a coincidence. You know the Rosses are from the East Bay, they grew up in Oakland. Job well done, Dr. Ross!

Brandon Marsh actually missed the call-up call several times when the Angels summoned him to the Show last weekend. LOL

I heard about that too, lol!

Nice story & video here about Duane Kuiper's return to the Jints broadcast booth, I thought about posting this in Best Wishes but I think the element of surprise made it a "tidbit."

I almost died laughing! Kitty on the field at Yankee Stadium in tonight's Orioles-Yankees game evades grounds crew several times, much to the entertainment of the players and fans.

Yes, I loved it and wondered if El Gato saw the clip too? Laughing

The same night there was also a praying mantis at the Nationals game!

Did everyone see what happened to Gavin when he hit the center field wall? Nice to know they all have a sense of humor about it, lol!

There were so many side stories in the playoffs like the Braves swords and Joc's pearls. These are things I love about our game of baseball.

This one is a few days old, but really? Will Smith? Our Will Smith, of the 2020 world championship Dodgers? SMH...

Lol, and the Oscars were not the only awards show with something connected to baseball. Justin Bieber wore a Padres cap at the Grammys on Sunday night. Not sure what that was all about! Article from CBS8

The comments, though! Laughing

lol

And about Will Smith, that ridiculousness should be over by now. I don't want to hear anything about him getting booed on the road because fans are that stupid.
