Canada has denied approval for the Toronto Blue Jays to play their regular season games at home. So what's next?

Well, it's been just been announced that their home base for 2020 will be PNC Park in Pittsburgh.

What a wacky, strange couple of months this season is going to be.

Yes, I was wondering if they were going to wait until the last minute! Surprised

They are! Because the Pennsylvania Department of Health refused to allow this. Now they have less than a week to figure it out because their home opener is July 29. Here's the latest update.

Related to this, I didn't know much about baseball history in Buffalo until I read this article a few days ago.

Remember this one from last year?

I hadn't been paying close enough attention, but since Toronto was "hosting" the Angels in the series that just started today, I learned that the Blue Jays are still prevented from playing in their home park due to COVID restrictions.

They'll continue to play at their ST facility in Dunedin, Florida for their first three homestands, through at least late May, according to this article from CBS Sports.

Since they played the entire (albeit shortened) 2020 season away from home, the poor guys haven't hosted a game in Rogers Centre since September, 2019.
